Eastchase unveils new restaurant, retailer and swim school

Three very different, new spaces are coming to The Shoppes at EastChase.

The retail center announced Wednesday that First Watch restaurant, South Boutique and Goldfish Swim School all plan to open later this year.

Birmingham-based South Boutique tested the market with a pop-up shop at the center and has now decided to open a full retail space. It plans to open the doors in August adjacent to Dillard’s and next to LOFT along the center’s main street..

First Watch specializes in breakfast, brunch and lunch. The center said you can expect a menu of “elevated classics and seasonal specialties” that will be made-to-order. The new restaurant will be adjacent to Firebirds near DSW. It plans to open this fall.

Goldfish Swim School has settled on Eastchase for its second Alabama location. It’s a learn-to-swim facility for kids 4 months to 12 years. The school will be at EastChase Plaza next to Kohl’s.

“The new tenants are a huge win for The Shoppes at EastChase, as well as Montgomery as a whole,” said Suzanna Edwards, vice president of marketing for Crawford Real Estate Advisors. “Crawford Square has been actively working to recruit national tenants based on the feedback received from the Montgomery community and we are pleased to deliver.”
