LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Dogs and dog lovers enjoyed the ultimate party this weekend in Westport Village.
On Saturday, the Humane Society teamed with Westport Village to host Puppy Palooza.
The event featured more than 40 dog-friendly vendors, giveaways and even pet portraits.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Kentucky Humane Society and will benefit various shelters in the city.
“We could not have asked for a better turnout today and to be able to collect the proceeds from this event, it’s just only going to benefit the 6,000 dogs, cats, and horses we care for in our shelter each year,” said Savannah Gregorchik-Menendez of KHS.
While the pups may have dragged their owners out of the house for a change, there certainly was plenty for them to do as well.
The even offered food options and even live music for people to enjoy.
